THE COMPANY
Founded in 2014, Geologia Roraima Consultoria e Serviços Ltda. - GEORAIMA is a company incubated in the Roraima Federal University (UFRR/GAIA – Incubator of Technological Based Company program) and it arose from the need to develop the geological knowledge of Roraima State for various activities of civil society.
Mainly focused in Geoscience area, the GEORAIMA Co. brings together a team of renowned knowledge as well as regular or occasional external collaborators also of recognized expertise in their areas.
The GEORAIMA Co. has its own or consigned equipment capable of fulfilling the most varied demands in geosciences,providing excellence in their service and ensuring compliance with contracts in the best possible ways.
Guided by uncompromising ethical and moral principles, the GEORAIMA Co. guarantees the smoothness and adequacy of its contracts, services and products in relation to national and international labor and environmental laws and standards.
OUR MISSION
We are a group of idealists who believe that sustainable socio-economic development is possible for Roraima and that, for this purpose, seeks to apply cutting edge geoscientific knowledge in the most varied activities of society.
We know that it is possible to put in practice socio-environmentally responsible solutions that will eliminate or mitigate in the best possible way the historical problems of the State and even the Country.
To ensure the success of these projects, the GEORAIMA Co. has professionals with extensive technical and academic experience, combining practical and theoretical excellence in solving problems associated with the risks and impacts of economic activities, as well as with the optimizing and successfully in the exploitation of natural resources.
We believe it is possible to use natural resources in an environmentally responsible manner, based on good and modern practices of Risk Assessment and Expected Impacts and a Holistic Planning that in addition to providing for them, offers integrative solutions for mitigation and recovery of the landscape and altered ecosystems.
OUR VISION
Our goal is to contribute to the Socio-Economic Development of Roraima and Brazil, through the application of modern geotechnologies and methodologies that promote Environmental Sustainability and Valorization of the Human Being (with respect to the cultural and ecological diversities of our region and country) in the most varied activities of exploitation of the Natural Resources developed Locally and Regionally. We also intend to be active and important participants in the discussion and elaboration of Private and Public Management of Natural Resources policies, Roraima in particular, and Brazilians in general. Finally, we intend to contribute to the dissemination and expansion of sustainable socio-environmental practices for Users of Natural Resources, such as entrepreneurs, civil entities of collective interest and public agents involved in their management.
OUR VALUES
Our principle is to respect national [1] and international [2] labor and environmental standards, guaranteeing our employees a healthy and fair work environment. We are also committed to adapting to the codes of ethics that govern our professional categories [3][4], as well as adapting to national, state and municipal rules and laws that seek environmental preservation and sustainability through the regulation of maximum standards acceptable socio-economic-environmental impacts [5].
